Situated on “Centenario” beach, just on the outskirts of La Paz, the studio offers a peaceful atmosphere, ideal to learn and relax. Away from disturbing noises of the city, you will find yourself in a quiet setting surrounded by local plants, chirping birds and wonderful views to the bay.
gARDEN & VIEWS
As you walk onto the property, you will stroll by a garden of curated plants, native to the area. Right after walking past the tamarind tree, you will be led up the stairs to the studio, located on the second story. From there, the views of the calm waters of the bay and the city are incredibly soothing.
The studio was built in the traditional Baja California Sur style. The materials selected and used come from regional resources, such as dried desert palm leaves and laja stone. This, along with the cool bay breeze that flows through the main sliding window, allows the space to stay cool on hot days.
THE INTERIOR
As you enter the classroom you will find a comfortable and large space. You will be able to choose the most convinient seat for you at a large table of 6. If you are smart, you will choose the side looking out over the bay! You will also find pencils, pens and erasers for you to use.
As you walk back to your car, you will likely see the group of resident pelicans resting on the edge of a few boats or even the local fishermen pulling in their daily haul. If you are feeling overwhelmed after a particularly difficult session with the beautiful and challenging Spanish language, you can always choose to take a walk, jog, or bike ride along the beach to revitalize, as many Paceños do.
